This Wednesday, newly elected Congressman Ralph Norman (SC-Dist 05) paid a visit to Sharonview Federal Credit Union in Fort Mill, SC. The credit union, in collaboration with the Carolinas Credit Union League, hosted a welcome breakfast for Rep. Norman where he met with over 40 credit union employees, presented a legislative update and participated in Q&A discussion. During the breakfast, he discussed an array of topics including his thoughts on regulatory relief and tax reform.
“We appreciate Rep. Norman for taking the time to meet credit union employees, his constituents,” said Billy Boylston, VP of governmental affairs for the League. "With Congress discussing tax reform, it was encouraging to hear Rep. Norman state his support for protecting the credit union tax status."
Following the breakfast, Sharonview FCU CEO Bill Partin gave Rep. Norman a tour of the credit union office.
