Thirteen senior executives from the Carolinas converged at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBA) May 14-15, 2017. The meeting, hosted by the Carolinas Credit Union League, brought together COOs, CFOs, attorneys, and chief lending officers from some of the largest credit unions in the Carolinas for networking and education sessions.
The event opened with a reception and dinner, sponsored by the FHLBA, which provided excellent networking opportunities. The following morning, NCUA Region III Director Myra Toeppe gathered senior staff to provide updates on a range of topics, including:
Exam Program and Exam Flexibility Initiative
Member Business Lending
The afternoon session included a FHLBA overview of the various products and services that they provide credit unions.
“It was a great two-days,” said League President and CEO John Radebaugh. “One of the things the League does is work to provide networking and professional development opportunities for credit union professionals that serve in similar roles. The Senior Executive Forum fit that description to a tee and the feedback we got was terrific.”
