POPi/o, Eltropy, CU Solutions Group offer digital convenience solutions

With branch lobbies closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, credit unions are encouraging members to use digital methods and connecting differently with their own employees. As they look to new and alternative methods, POPi/o, Eltropy, and CU Solutions Group are among partners offering to help credit unions foster continued engagement and ease member access.
POPi/o offers CU members virtual branch services via web-based video during COVID-19 restrictions
CUNA Strategic Services alliance provider POPi/o is offering a limited number of free video seat licenses per credit union to enable web-based video collaboration with members. The POPi/o platform is accessible via a link that can be distributed on credit union webpages, social media channels, or emails. Through it, members can interact with credit union staff to exchange documents including photo ID’s and review documents, to provide signatures to authorize new accounts and loans, and to address other urgent needs.

Eltropy hosting webinars, waiving up-front fees for member text messaging
The COVID-19 pandemic is emphasizing credit unions' open communication with members, and Eltropy enables that in a secure, TCPA-compliant way. Even before the current conditions, credit unions showed great interest in the timely method as Eltropy Founder Ashish Garg's breakout session at LAUNCH 2020 was one of the most popular.
In light of the current environment, Eltropy will waive setup, implementation and platform fees for credit unions for ninety (90) days for all Carolinas credit unions, reducing credit unions' cost to the "pass through" carrier text message fee of $0.01 per text.
