League, Carolinas Foundation ready to support credit unions as Dorian arrives to Carolina coast

Columbia, SC and Raleigh, NC--Hurricane Dorian has arrived to the Carolinas coastline. As Weather.com reports, the category 3 hurricane brings with it a siege of storm surge flooding, rainfall flooding, high winds and tornadoes as it tracks near the coasts of South Carolina, North Carolina and southeast Virginia through Friday.
On Tuesday, the Carolinas Credit Union League and Carolinas Credit Union Foundation began fielding reports of closings and preparing to support any credit union facilities, staff, and volunteers affected by the storm.

Credit unions impacted by the storm may continue to send notices of facility closings, storm impact, and subsequent damage to email@example.com.
Disaster Relief Aid Available
The Carolinas Foundation is prepared to disburse aid to disaster-stricken credit union employees and volunteers through its disaster relief grant application process.
How to Apply:
1. Download and save this grant application form.
2. Complete and sign the form, and email to Carolinas Foundation President Lauren Whaley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make a Donation
The Carolinas Foundation is also ready to receive contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund, which since its establishment has provided more than $2 million in aid to the local, national, and international credit union communities. Any donation collected is disbursed dollar-for-dollar to aid in disaster recovery.
