Cotton and Palmer attended the school March 25-28, 2019 in Atlanta, GA, and successfully demonstrated their mastery of core auditing competencies through an onsite exam. This year's program resulted in 107 new CCUIA designees, bringing the school's total to nearly 500 certified auditors since its start in 2016.
The CCUIA program is designed to help participants learn how to:
Create a custom audit plan for your credit union
Evaluate internal controls and risks
Conduct fraud/employee investigations
Audit financial management
Manage internal audit communications
