An important component of credit union advocacy is showing strength in numbers. One way that's possible is through Project Zip Code – a secure program that matches credit union members by legislative district and county, but does not include personal information.
PZC information is used during office visits with legislators during the annual CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference and Hike the Hill. As the program has grown, the number of members per legislative district has grown and leaves a greater impression on legislators. With the GAC only a month away, CCUL asks credit unions to update their numbers by February 14 to accurately relay them to members of Congress and use them in grassroots efforts throughout the year.
The latest version of PZC is available for download here and includes a user manual for and FAQs. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for technical support. Please direct any other questions to PAC and Grassroots Manager Maggie Ambrose.
