Just before the new year, the Carolinas Credit Union League flipped the switch on its website to reveal a more modern, user-friendly interface on the functional framework members have grown accustomed to since 2014.
In last year's redesign process the League focused on three areas to improve the user experience: simplified navigation, cleaner interface, and responsive design for optimal viewing on any device.
"We are excited about our new online presence and the improvements for our members," League VP of PR & Communications said of carolinasleague.org. "It's important to us that our connections--personal and electronic--are clear and effective, and this update supports that goal."
Key features of the redesigned website include:
Addition of the "Connect To" tab for convenient access to more "high-traffic" areas of the site;
Improved submenu navigation within the four focus areas of the League (advocacy, compliance, development, and community);
Homepage "feature boxes" that spotlight the latest in events, news, and videos;
A rotating banner of League business partners at the bottom of the homepage;
A live Twitter feed to keep site visitors in the loop on League and industry happenings at a glance; and
Improved filtering options for the League's calendar of events.
This new tab connects visitors to site resources and League services quicker than before.
Homepage "feature boxes" bring top news, events and videos to the forefront.
Live Twitter feed provides visitors an up-to-the minute glance at industry activity.
The League will continue small improvements over the next few weeks. Any questions about the site or technical difficulties are invited through the site's Contact Us form.
