This month, Credit Union Magazine raised the spotlight on credit unions and leagues around the country that have developed intensive leadership training programs. Among the two programs noted in the article as “stellar examples,” is the Carolinas Credit Union League’s Leadership Development Institute. This year marks the start of the new program, which accepted twenty students from credit unions in North and South Carolina.
Hosted at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, students meet for two days each quarter for a concentrated curriculum shaped by the League’s Professional Development Department in partnership with the Center for Leadership Studies.
The program is designed to provide current and rising credit union leaders with the critical thinking skills and leadership strategies essential to growth and success.
