An authentic brand sells itself — that’s what Matt Purvis, a dynamic and multidisciplinary business leader, tells credit union leaders. Matt is the creator of Brand Animation™ and owner of Purvis Management, which helps drive organizational profit by creating charismatic brands and helping organizations bring their brands to life. Matt will speak at Saturday morning’s Executive Management Breakout Session on Charismatic Branding - Leveraging the CU Identity and will close the General Session with Brand Animation.

Matt’s presentations will help participants renew a strategic approach to sales, explore the unique power of brand-based strategies in cooperative business structures, and consider the effects of these strategies on employee engagement, organizational focus, and cohesiveness. His key points are: (1) engage employees, don’t train them and (2) measure behavior, not sales.

Matt has been named a top-twenty rising business leader by Oregon Business Magazine, and his career covers a wide range of industries. He has managed presidential political campaigns, worked as a fully licensed securities agent, and led Northwest Community Credit Union’s marketing, sales, and branch operations as chief experience officer. Matt finds interest in the intersection of leadership, branding, and motivation and is passionate about helping credit unions differentiate themselves in the financial services industry.
