FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union recently presented a $7,000 check to the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation.

Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union President/CEO David Elliott and Chief Financial Officer Todd Kenthack presented the check to Carolinas Credit Union Foundation. “We give to [the] Carolinas Credit Union Foundation each year so that way we can give to Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, North Carolina,” said Elliott. “This charity helps children who are fighting serious illnesses and gives them an opportunity to attend camping experiences that are both exciting and meaningful. The best part is that it is free to the children and families.”

The donation was only a portion of the proceeds from Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union’s 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament held May 23, 2014 at Cypress Lakes Golf Course. The tournament raised a total of $14,000, of which $7,000 was also given to Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation’s “Friends of the Cancer Center” on June 26, 2014.
