In an effort to assist users with addressing the challenges of operating a credit union, the National Credit Union Administration’s (NCUA) Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives (OSCUI) has released the Credit Union Leadership Resource Manual.
The goal of this manual is to present and explain contemporary issues, provide tips and present opportunities; while promoting use of the underlying rules, regulations, and referenced materials. Users are encouraged not to bypass reading of the referenced material when appropriate or relevant to the issues you’re undertaking.
OSCUI supports the success of small credit unions through training, consulting, grants and loans, and partnership opportunities. It recognizes the unique role small, low-income designated and new credit unions play in the lives of their members and communities. And is committed to helping these credit unions not only survive, but thrive.
