For the past 17 months, Rose Conner has served as acting administrator of the North Carolina Credit Union Division, a branch of the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) reports that Conner’s position has now become permanent.
Conner most notably helped the division and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) reach an agreement that would end dual exams for North Carolina’s state charted credit unions. She stepped in as acting state regulator last year when Jerrie Jay retired.
