CCUL staff traveled to Atlanta this week to meet with Region III Director Myra Toeppe and Assistant Regional Director of Programs Dave Hibshman. Toeppe joined NCUA in 2011 and was named director in September of last year. Before joining NCUA, Toeppe spent nearly 25 years in financial services regulation, including work with the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta.
“With last year’s retirement of Herb Yolles, the leadership team at Region III has changed,” said CCUL President/CEO John Radebaugh. “We appreciated their time and the opportunity to share the concerns of credit unions in the Carolinas.”
Radebaugh was joined by CCUL SVP Association Services Dan Schline and VP Regulatory/Compliance Counsel Jeanne Couchois. “We view regulatory advocacy as core function of the league,” shared Schline. “Developing relationships with regulators and having an ongoing dialogue about how rules and regulations are impacting credit unions in the Carolinas is central to that process.”
