Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union collected donations over the summer for the Help4Kids Vienna Sausage Campaign at its Myrtle Beach, Conway, and Surfside Beach branches. Help4Kids is a local nonprofit organization in Horry County that provides meals and supplies to children who otherwise would go without. Their motto is "Hunger doesn't take the weekend off and neither do our volunteers.”

Carolina Trust collected over 2,000 cans of Vienna sausages, hundreds of juice boxes, pudding cups, beanie weenies and crackers, as well as school supplies, and over $100 in donations. Thanks to these contributions, school children will be better prepared for the upcoming school year.

Barb Mains, founder of the organization, was very thankful for the items collected. "Thank you all so much for your hard work and time for the kids. We appreciate it, and they certainly do. Every bag we pack and deliver with the food collected makes a big smile on the face of a child,” said Mains.
