Book by Bestselling Author & Finance Expert Jean Chatzky assists in building financial security for everyone
In late 2012, the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) made available copies of the book "Money Rules: The Simple Path to Lifelong Security” by bestselling author and finance expert Jean Chatzky to the credit union system at a substantially reduced rate.
"Money Rules” contains a set of smart, actionable, engaging rules that, if followed, will allow readers to enjoy a lifetime of financial security and eliminate their stress about money.
NCUF has already distributed more than 85,000 copies of the book to credit unions and leagues who said they plan on distributing to staff, volunteers, and members. Locally, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation has distributed approximately 4,000 copies to credit unions throughout the Carolinas.
Other credit unions are distributing the "Money Rules” books at community events, offering it to new members as part of their on-boarding program, distributing to local teachers, and giving copies as thank you gifts to members and volunteers.
When an organization requests 1,000 or more copies of the book, the donor organization’s name is included on a sticker on the front cover. Each book already comes with "Compliments of: NCUF” printed on the cover.
