LSCU: Registration open for 2018 Disaster Preparedness Conference
Tuesday, February 20, 2018
The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) invites credit unions in the Carolinas to the 2018 Disaster Preparedness Conference April 4-5 in Orlando, FL. This informative event is an opportunity for credit unions to review proven ways to establish, update, and execute a robust continuity plan while providing access to a variety of resources all in one venue. Expect discussions on critical topics such as natural and man-made disasters – including, but not limited to – hurricanes, floods, fire, and terrorism.
“This is an important and timely topic given the destructive hurricane season in 2017 which affected so many communities and businesses across multiple states,” said Lauren DeAngelis, VP of Professional Development for the League. “The lesson from that is it’s never too soon to build or improve your continuity plan, and this conference is another resource to learn more on the subject.”
Open to credit unions from 10 southeastern states (VA, KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, LA, MS, AL, and FL), this event will help attendees identify key strategies, products, and services needed to ensure continued business operations and prepare for any type of disaster. Hear from experts and learn invaluable lessons and ways to better prepare and protect your staff and members.
Don’t miss this opportunity to evaluate, improve, and update your existing business continuity plan. Register today! Room rates will be discounted to $145 through March 5. For more information, contact Simi Daniels at Simi.Daniels@lscu.coop or call 850-558-1024.
