A new look: League launches redesigned In the Loop and other publications
Thursday, January 4, 2018
Welcome to the first issue of the Carolinas Credit Union League’s redesigned In the Loop! The new format features mobile-responsive design and streamlined, curated news to help readers focus on what’s most important. Article previews and images present a well-rounded and engaging display across desktop PCs, smartphones, and tablet devices.
“The revamped In the Loop has been the top objective in our conversion of all e-publications to mobile-friendly format,” shared Courtney Jackson, director of communications for the Carolinas Credit Union League. “This conversion makes it more convenient for our credit unions to digest our news no matter when or where they’re reading it.”
In reviewing its entire suite of publications, the League has opted to consolidate some, discontinue others, and create something new.
“We are taking a new approach with The Advocate, which consolidates state and federal advocacy news that had been split between From the State Capital and Federal Legislative Update newsletters,” shared Brandon Pugh, VP, public relations and communications for the League. “We’ll deliver state-specific editions of The Advocate on Mondays, highlighting top developments when Congress or a state legislature is in session.”
Another new communication for 2018 is the CCUL Action Alert, to be used sparingly for grassroots or regulatory “calls to action” supported by the League. The CCUL Action Alert allows for broader use, effectively replacing The Regulatory Report.
Other redesigned communications premiering in the coming weeks include The Compliance Monthly, Development Digest, and From the Desk of the CEO.
“Existing subscription preferences for site members will not be affected by style changes, but we encourage members to log in at carolinasleague.org and review profile details to ensure they’re receiving the communications they want,” Pugh added.
