My SC CU campaign sees growth in social media engagement, more support needed
Thursday, December 28, 2017
Since announcing its statewide campaign in October for credit union awareness and choice in South Carolina, the Carolinas Credit Union League has seen steady growth in the number of social media followers and engagement on the campaign’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
As of December 27, the My SC CU Facebook page has gained 1,123 likes and 1,131 followers. Some of the more successful posts include consumer awareness pieces that explain the differences between state and federal charters and elaborates on why only 11 out of 67 SC credit unions are state-chartered today.
Working with Push Digital, the League’s grassroots campaign continues to post shareable blogs and other social media content that drives visitors to the MySCCreditUnion.com website, where they may sign up to support the League’s efforts to update the SC state charter through Senate Bill S.337.
However, to continue on this successful path, further engagement from credit unions is still needed.
The League encourages member credit unions to visit MySCCreditUnion.com, like the @MySCCreditUnion Facebook page, and follow @TheCCUL on Twitter, then like and share content with their own members.
