By popular demand, the Cooperative Trust is extending the application period for Crash the GAC 2018 by TEN MORE DAYS! All applications must be submitted by December 8 at 11:59PM CST (for real, this time).

The scholarship, supported by CUNA, covers the full conference registration cost to attend CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). To offset any additional fees, the Carolinas Credit Union League will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to each selected candidate from North Carolina and South Carolina.

Crashers are able to take part in keynote and breakout sessions, visit with congressional leaders on the Hill and network with the more than 4,000 credit union leaders in attendance.

The Crash the GAC 2018 selection committee will select one candidate from each state and the District of Columbia plus one (or more) wildcard to attend *.

New this year: Credit unions also have the option of purchasing the "Pay It Forward" Guaranteed Crasher Spot. By agreeing to pay the registration fee for its Crasher as well as donating a registration fee for an additional wildcard Crasher to attend, a credit union can guarantee a spot in the Crash the GAC. Applicants must still apply through the main form here.

Apply now at www.crashthegac.com. For more information follow #CrashtheGAC18 or contact the Cooperative Trust at trust@trust.coop.

* Maximum of 10 wildcard crashers is possible.
