Voter Voice activated to support financial reform

Earlier this week, a bipartisan group of Senators announced agreement on legislation (details are still being finalized) that supports Main Street, credit unions, small banks, and the consumers and small business they serve. It provides protections against financial elder abuse, ensures credit union loans are treated the same as their bank counterparts, and includes a number of other credit union-support provisions.

The League has activated Voter Voice for credit union members to easily contact Senators Richard Burr (R-NC) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and urge them to support this common-sense legislation. In this simple process, members can also thank bill co-sponsors Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Tim Scott (R-SC) for their support and continued fight to ensure its passage into law.

Contact your senator now to urge their support of the Senate Banking Committee's bipartisan financial reform legislation!

Reinforce your efforts by voicing your support on social media using #CommonSenseReg and tagging your senators.
