Webinars:

4/15/2024
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

DEI: Understanding Challenges in a Diverse Workplace

There are many challenges that employees face in the workplace and even more so when you are a diverse workplace. This webinar will explore the many challenges, for example, race, gender, and LGBTQ discrimination. Understanding these challenges is critical to building an inclusive workspace and becoming a true ally of colleagues at work. Organizations should create safe spaces for employees to bring forward concerns and challenges and one way to create these spaces is to find ways to become more knowledgeable and become more comfortable talking about these challenges.

4/22/2024
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

DEI: Becoming an Ally

Being an ally in the workplace means you stand up for your colleagues in underrepresented groups against discrimination. Employees in underrepresented groups need a place to express their fears and frustrations and a person that will hear and make efforts to understand those emotions. Encouraging allyship can have many benefits in the workplace, such as fostering positive interactions, encouraging meaningful relationships, undermining racism, creating an inclusive culture and much more. This webinar will help us understand how allies can help dismantle stereotypes and be supportive of our colleagues every day.

4/29/2024
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

DEI: Building an Inclusive Culture

An important part of embarking on a DEI journey for any organization is focusing on building an inclusive culture. If we are just focusing on diversity recruiting and onboarding diverse talent, but not focusing on the internal culture, our efforts are going to be wasted and we will have disengaged and unsatisfied employees. So, we must ask ourselves, “what am I doing to create an inclusive culture every day?”, or “what is my organization doing to make sure people feel included every day?”. These are critical questions we need to explore answers to and make sure we are doing our part. This webinar will take us on a journey of exploring the importance of an inclusive culture, how we build an inclusive culture and some tips and best practices on what many organizations are doing to be more inclusive.

5/6/2024
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

DEI: Challenging your Unconscious Bias

Unconscious bias is a huge topic right now with many people focusing on ways to learn more about their unconscious bias and finding ways to reduce the impact of it. Our unconscious bias can tremendously affect how we interact with people, how we make hiring decisions, how we make management and termination decisions and who we interact with; therefore, we must tap into our own biases and understanding them. Many people feel they do not have a bias; however, we all have one and until we acknowledge it and learn more about it, we are not going to be able to make changes. Join this webinar to learn more about how to uncover your biases, and ways to reduce your bias at work and in your personal lives.

5/13/2024
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

DEI: Incorporating Generational Differences in the Workplace

There are many organizations with five generations in the workplace – Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, Millennials and Gen Z’s. All these generational differences can create their own unique challenges. We must understand how different groups can have difference expectations, challenges, and emotions at work and we must learn how to work through those things to create an inclusive culture for everyone. In about 10 years, Gen Z’s and Millennials are going to make up the majority in our workplace, and a large percentage of Gen Z’s and Millennials identify as non-white and many of them identify as non-binary. Because of the differences of these generations, we need to learn better ways of working together and being more inclusive.

5/20/2024

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

DEI: A Religious Inclusion Mindset

There are over 4,000 religions around the world! Therefore, there is no way we can always incorporate every one of them into our workplace successfully. Managing Change for Supervisors and Managers

This course explores how organizations don't change; people change, one person at a time. If the people impacted by a change do not support and engage in the transition, then the particulars of that change, including new processes, systems, or job roles, are not realized, and we fail to achieve the purpose of the change project. In short, the business objectives still need to be met. Managers are central to making this happen.

During this course, we will discuss how people naturally respond to change and how to leverage those responses to maximize change effectiveness. Participants will learn the popular ADKAR goal-oriented change management model and learn how to manage their team as they work through change. Attendees apply tools and insights gained to a change in their workplace and develop a plan to move through it.

DEI: Challenging Your Unconscious Bias

Unconscious bias is a huge topic right now with many people focusing on ways to learn more about their unconscious bias and finding ways to reduce its impact.

This is a 90-minute webinar and is great for anyone in the workplace.

This is a 90-minute webinar and is great for anyone in the workplace.
