Are you up for the challenge?

On Wednesday, August 6 at 1:30 p.m. the Tarheel Chapter will host the chapter-level CUaware Protégé Competition for eligible credit union professionals, ages 18-35 at the LGFCU Conference Center in the Quorum Center (323 West Jones Street, Raleigh). Each credit union is encouraged to select one candidate to represent them in the chapter-level competition. Judging will be based on a standard written exam and a five-minute oral presentation. Candidates will have a wide range of topic choices available.

Applications are due Wednesday, July 16!

Once a winner is determined, he or she will move on to the Finals at the 2014 CCUL Leadership Conference at Pinehurst Resorts in Pinehurst, NC (September 4-6). The Tarheel Chapter will cover the following expenses for the chapter-level CUaware Protégé attending the Finals:

  • Conference registration;
  • Hotel accommodations; and
  • Meals and mileage/gas reimbursement (or stipend)

The winner and two runners-up at the Finals in September will receive special benefits including scholarship opportunities at nationally recognized conferences and places on CUaware's Leadership and Regional Councils.
