Legislative

Created by legislation, credit unions also live by it. We are vigilant to threats large and small, and we look for enhancement and opportunity along the way. In Washington, Columbia, and Raleigh, members' best interests are our own.

We ensure a long future for our movement by understanding its foundation and structure, and by sharing those regularly with lawmakers as they consider new legislation and policies. As they work to balance a multitude of interests, we work to preserve and enhance consumer choice and the credit union charter.
